Mamikon Gharibyan and Kirill Shevchenko are Leading the Table after Round 2

Round 2 of European Youth Grand Prix took place today. Five games out of 6 were victorious. The only draw was agreed in the game between two representatives of Armenia; Aram Hakobyan and Shant Sargsyan. The game was also the longest one of the round. Mamikon Gharibyan and Kirill Shevchenko celebrated second victories in a row and are now leading the table with 2 points apiece.

The winner of the first stage Kirill Shubin of Russia took victory over Norwegian Tor Frederick Kaasen. Stefan Pogosyan of Russia was stronger than Viachaslau  Zarubitski and Arseniy Nesterov defeated Paulius Pultinevicius.
